It struck me because I was reminded of my arrival to begin work in Pagosa and admitting to my co-workers that I didn't think of Pagosa as being a rural as much as a mountain community. On a lark I took this posted quiz, and while getting 4 of 8 questions correct was struck about how educational it was on Rural America.
