The Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation (CDC) was founded in February of 2010. The CDC stemmed from what was previously the Archuleta Economic Development Association (AEDA). The CDC received the last of the AEDA assets from Cloman Industrial Park in December of 2010.

The Pagosa Springs CDC recently completed a strategic plan identifying the hiring of an economic development professional as a key goal in an effort to create self-sufficiency and sustainability.  Funding has become available and the CDC Board of Directors feels confident that this funding will allow the CDC to lead economic development efforts to accomplish their strategic plan priorities and allow them to fully fund and support an economic develop professional. In particular, it will foster private and non-profit partnerships, and assist in economic development planning efforts.

The hired Executive Director/economic development professional will work directly with the CDC Board as well as other local leaders, sector partners, resource providers, and employers. Every effort will be made to align the CDC’s economic goals and sustain economic development activities.
